David Vest Trio Plays Monk

The David Vest Trio performs the music of Thelonious Monk, “the genius of modern music.” In addition to some rarely-heard Monk compositions (as well as some of the more famous songs), David will also play some of his original Monk-inspired music. Expect to hear some captivating stories about Monk and his music as well. By the end of the hour, you’ll definitely know what connects Monk to Irving Berlin and Bing Crosby!
