Jive Community Big Band, Swingsation

JIVE (The Jazz in Victoria Ensemble) is a collective of community big band musicians. With weekly rehearsals under the direction of trombonist Nick La Riviere, the band performs a mix of music in the big band style. Joining them are ‘Swingsation’, Victoria’s newest gypsy jazz ensemble featuring vocals by Lauren Marshall. Admission is by donation to Our Place, so it’s all for a good cause.
